Dimitar Berbatov could be playing for his Manchester United future tonight. Berbatov is expected to start against Champions League opponents FC Basle.
The Sun says Berbatov's Old Trafford contract runs out after this season, although the club has the option to extend it by a further year.
But there is certainly no new deal in the offering for the 30-year-old.
With Rooney (hamstring) and Hernandez (dead-leg) out until Saturday, tonight does at least provide Berba with another chance to ignite his season.
