Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was delighted with his goal in their draw at Lyon. Benzema came off the bench to net against his former club.
"It was a very important goal for the team, I'm happy. But I've been very happy at Lyon and could not celebrate the goal," he said.
"All my teammates have embraced me because it was a goal that put us ahead in the tie.
"On a personal level, I am working hard to play anymore. The coach has given me 27 minutes and I have responded on the field."
