David Bentley has again hinted his future may lie away from Blackburn after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Reading left Europe a distant dream.
Rovers have been trying to tie down Bentley on a new long-term, but, as yet, contract talks have failed to deliver a positive outcome.
Bentley has thanked Blackburn for their help in making him the player he is today, although that has not stopped him hinting his future may be away from Ewood Park.
"I owe so much to Blackburn," he told the Daily Star Sunday.
"They have given me a platform - financially and to play every week.
"My contract is getting negotiated at the minute, but you never know what is round the corner.
"We need to be in Europe abut we are probably not going to make it - which is disappointing from a personal point of view."
