Former West Ham striker Benni McCarthy has paid tribute to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
McCarthy is now working as a coach with Sint-Truiden, which has close ties to Chelsea.
He told So Foot: "He knows how to win. Can you see Arsenal winning the Champions League? You're gonna tell me no, because there's Barca, Real, City, Bayern, Juve ... When we won it in 2004, there was a package of better teams than us. Chelsea, AC Milan, Valencia, Barcelona, Lyon ... It was only in our dreams that such a feat was achievable.
"It was an impossible mission, and was won because he was fantastic.
"He is very good tactically and he knew his opponents by heart. He gave us personalized DVDs for each player. For example, we played against Milan, I had a sequence oriented for Maldini and Nesta. I looked at their strengths, their weaknesses and I could see my strength. Same for our defenders with their opponents. And psychologically, he was very strong."
