Rafa Benitez is keen to bring Real Madrid captain Raul to Italy. Sport says the new Inter Milan coach is entering the battle for the Spanish striker, who is expected to be handed a free transfer by Real this summer.

Manchester United and the MLS's New York Red Bull have also been linked with Raul.

The 33 year-old forward could follow in the footsteps of former Real teammate Luis Figo, who enjoyed two successful years at Inter to wind down his career.
