Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez isn't demanding full control of transfers before committing to a new contract, it has been revealed.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool insiders belief that manager Benitez's rant about wanting total control of transfer policy is more to do with his frustration at the way chief executive Rick Parry has been handling the moves than any expectation of being granted complete authority himself.
