Former Inter Milan coach Rafa Benitez hopes Simone Inzaghi keeps his job.
Inzaghi will lead Inter in the second-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Benfica, defending a 2-0 aggregate lead.
Knowing Inter's Serie A struggles this season, Benitez told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "As a colleague, I don't like that someone can lose their job.
"Overall Inzaghi's management is positive, otherwise he wouldn't be in the quarter-finals in the Champions League. Let's see how it goes, maybe it will become a year to remember...
"In Europe, Inter surprised me more than anyone else I was expecting a better Benfica, but the Nerazzurri's merits must be recognised: congratulations."
