Benitez hails Napoli "intensity" for AC Milan win

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez hailed their "intensity" for victory over AC Milan.

Adel Taarabt scored on his Serie A debut, but Gokhan Inler and a Gonzalo Higuain brace turned it all around.

Benitez said: "Clearly Gonzalo can make the difference, but his teammates helped him a great deal and we created so many chances tonight. We could've scored a lot more.

"In recent weeks we had basically beaten Bologna and conceded at the 93rd minute, Chievo had one shot on goal and we gave Atalanta three assists. It is different playing against a side like Roma or Milan, who attack and give you space to play football."

Inler provided one of those 'assists' in the 3-0 defeat to Atalanta, but tonight scored a goal and set up Higuain.

"He is a spectacular professional and the other day was a fluke. If he does that move again 100 times, he won't get it wrong again. It was bad luck, but today he showed his character and quality.

"Jorginho works well and is still young, so still needs more physical work to get stronger. I am 100 per cent convinced with time to work pre-season he'll be much better next year. He has quality and the mental speed to think of the right pass."
