Benfica technical director Pedro Marques is being linked with Liverpool.

New Liverpool football chief exec Michael Edwards is set to add former Bournemouth chief Richard Hughes to his staff.

And the Liverpool Echo says Marques is also set to be approached.

Edwards will move for Marques with the aim of him helping in plans to launch a multi-club network.

Marques has worked in the past for City Football Group establishing their multi-club setup.
