Benfica are ready to deal in Manchester United wing-back Alvaro Fernandez.

The Spaniard is currently on-loan at Benfica to the end of the season.

Record says Benfica are prepared to buy Fernandez outright for a fee of €6m rising to €9m in bonuses.

Fernandez, 20 has made 10 appearances for Benfica thus far.

The loan deal includes a obligatory permanent option if he starts 50 per cent of games.
