Benfica president Rui Silva has played down re-signing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.

Felix has been linked with a return to Benfica this past week.

But Rui Silva says: "João Félix will always be one of us, but he is an Atlético de Madrid player, period."

Rui Costa's new words arrive after comments me 10 days ago in England.

"Who wouldn't like to have João Félix at Benfica? At Benfica or anywhere else. He's a great player, a fantastic person and one of our boys. He deserves the best in the world, but right now he's an Atlético de Madrid player," said Rui Silva at the time.
