Benevento fullback Bacary Sagna has paid tribute to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger announced on Friday he was stepping down this summer.

And Sagna, who played for Wenger at Arsenal, declared: "He treated me like a son.

"He was close to me when I lost my brother, like a father, better than a father."

Sagna signed for Benevento earlier this year after his release from Manchester City.
