Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has defended Cristiano Ronaldo after his anti-Manchester United interview this week.

However, the Dane is sorry seeing Ronaldo hit out as he has.

He said, "We are talking about a completely amazing person.

"I regret how he reacted to this whole situation. I find it very strange. But if a person of his magnitude, who went through a lot and did a lot for Manchester United, asks for an interview with Pierce Morgan himself, then let it be so.

"Where are his advisers, who should be doing this?"
