Ben Woodburn was thrilled with his debut for Liverpool yesterday.
Woodburn has described his debut in today's 2-0 win over Sunderland “dream come true".
Reds' boss Jurgen Klopp gave the Welsh youth international a brief cameo, coming on in the 92nd minute for Georginio Wijnaldum at Anfield.
Woodburn's brief cameo makes him the third youngest player to ever represent the Liverpool, aged just 17 years and 42 days – with only Jack Robinson and Jerome Sinclair making their bows younger.
He appeared for the first team at a younger age than the likes of Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard, who all made their Liverpool debuts as older teenagers.
