Hatem Ben Arfa is happy to rundown his contract at Newcastle United.
The Telegraph says sources close to the former Marseille forward have indicated he is willing to see out the final year of his contract and leave on a more lucrative Bosman-style free transfer in 12 months.
Reports in France also indicated that Newcastle had accepted a bid from an unnamed club in Ukraine earlier this month, but Ben Arfa rejected the move.
