Vinicius Jr insists he had a key role in Real Madrid's signing of Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham struck a superb goal in Real's Champions League win at Napoli last night.

Vini Jr said afterwards: "I wanted Bellingham in Real Madrid. I sent many messages to Jude last year. I sent him messages almost every day and told him to come to Madrid."

Bellingham also was keen to praise Vinicius afterwards, "He is incredible. He is probably the best in the world and one of the most talented teammates I have ever had.

"He makes matches much easier for me. His speed and talent are a great company and I hope it will continue to be so ."
