Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has no doubts Thibaut Courtois is the right goalkeeper for Real Madrid.

Martinez insists Courtois will get better the more he adjusts to his new surroundings.

He said, "Football is a team sport and the titles are what counts, at the level of the best goalkeeper, Courtois, for his consistency, and for his work and not only in what a goalkeeper faces in goal, for what he contributes... I think he was clearly the best goalkeeper in the World Cup.

"I do not think there is any doubt, then it is to consider if these awards have to be direct for the champions or for the player.

"He's in a period of adaptation, he's in a situation he had at Chelsea in his first year, there was a situation where he had to fight with a great English football legend like Petr Cech and now he's coming to a club like Real Madrid, where he is ready to fight for his position and to be ready for what is needed.

"I have seen him very happy when we were with the national team, he is very motivated, very happy with the project. We will see growth even with the intensity that a club like Madrid demands."
