Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has been voted by Belgian football fans as the nation's 125 Years Ultimate Icon, an accolade awarded by the Belgian Football Association.

The former Chelsea captain pulled in 10.6% of the votes to beat off competition from Vincent Kompany (9.4%) and Kevin de Bruyne (9.1%).

Jan Ceulemans clinched fourth spot, whilst fifth went to Paul Van Himst.

The top 10 was completed by Romelu Lukaku, Guy Thys, Eric Gerets, Jean-Marie Pfaff and Raymond Goethals.

Hazard made his debut for the senior Belgian national team aged 17 years and 316 days.
