Roman Bednar wants the chance to prove himself at West Bromwich Albion.
The striker had a spell at Leicester City earlier this season.
"I had a good time at Leicester. They have some good players and a good gaffer, but I still feel like my place is here," he said.
"Maybe I needed to go to Leicester to realise what I wanted.
"I really wasn't handling well the fact I wasn't playing, but I'm here now and ready to work really hard - I'm pleased.
"I've got something left to prove. I love this club and I still want to be here.
"I went to see the gaffer and he said 'if you work hard you will get chances'. That's enough for me."
