Beckham's Milan deal 95% done

England midfielder David Beckham is 95 per cent sure his second loan move to AC Milan will happen.

The 35-year old made a big impact coming on as a substitute in the Three Lions' final World Cup qualifier, a 3-0 win over Belarus on Wednesday night, and after the match admitted he was close to a move to the San Siro.

"Milan are still saying they do. It's 95 per cent done, very close, so I can't see it not happening now," Beckham said.

Beckham did insist, however, that his move to Milan does not necessarily mean he will be a certain inclusion in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad.

"We all have to prove that we want to be in the squad and in the team for every game, for every qualifier and every friendly," he added.

"Every one of these players is so hungry and we want to be out there. That move to Milan is close. I've always said I want to go back there if they want me."
