LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has indicated that he may sign a new deal with the MLS club.
The 34-year old England international, who will return to Italian club AC Milan on loan at the end of the current MLS season, says he may sign a deal with the Galaxy that will take him close to his 40s.
"There is every chance that could happen. I signed a five-year deal and I always said I would honour that,” Beckham said.
"I am good friends with the owner Tim Leiweke and everybody else at AEG. They have been great to me in the support they have shown. We will see what happens."
Beckham will hopefully go on to the World Cup with England after his stint with Milan then will return to Los Angeles and play out the remainder of his lucrative deal.
