Franz Beckenbauer has called on Roma to make them an offer for Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.

Toni has been outstanding on-loan at Roma this season and wants to remain with the Serie A leaders.

Bayern president Beckenbauer told Sky Italia: "If Roma want to keep Toni and Toni wants to stay in the capital, the interested parties must contact us because he has a contract with Bayern Munich."
