DaMarcus Beasley is excited about his prospects at Rangers.
The USA winger, signed by boss Walter Smith for £700,000 from PSV Eindhoven, said: "The team has lots of quality and it's fun to play with them.
Beasley - one of eight new recruits - featured in the 3-0 friendly win over German minnows FC Gutersloh 2000.
"At the moment maybe everyone is a bit unorganised, but it's pre-season so it will be fine," added the 25-year-old.
Meanwhile, winger Libor Sionko says he is prepared to stay and fight for a starting berth at Ibrox.
"I want to fight for a place in the starting line-up - the pre-season is at its start and nobody is thinking about what comes in the future, the atmosphere is alright," he told Czech newspaper Pravo.
"So far I have been with the team at the training centre in Glasgow and we have been improving fitness.
"During the summer, seven new players have come in and others will arrive.
"Competition will be big, on the other hand, some players will leave as well."
