Bayern Munich youth coach Martin Demichelis admits he could've been on the move to Spain.

The Argentine is wanted by his former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini at Real Betis. Pellegrini took charge of Betis last month.

“I had the chance to go to Betis with Pellegrini and it didn't happen. They (Bayern) are happy and they told me that I didn't have to rush," Demichelis told Radio Continental.

On why he didn't take up the offer, he added: “I know where I am and what I have to do.

"They don't demand results from me, they do require a lot of training."
