Bayern Munich are watching Marc-Andre ter Stegen's situation at Barcelona.

AS says the delay with regard to Ter Stegen extending his contract with Barcelona has caused many clubs to monitor his situation, but none have been as determined as Bayern Munich.

The German giants view Ter Stegen as the ideal replacement for the 33-year-old Manuel Neuer, although Barcelona will be determined to keep hold of their No.1, who is arguably their most important player after Lionel Messi.

Reports in both Spanish and German media have noted Bayern's interest in the 27-year-old, however Ter Stegen's deal at the Camp Nou does not expire until June 30, 2022.
