Bayer Munich are ready to pass on the permanent option for Joao Cancelo.
The fullback joined Bayern in January on-loan from Manchester City to the end of the season.
A permanent option set at €70m was included in the deal and it's now emerged Bayern will not be seeking to trigger the clause.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports: "Bayern board will discuss with (Thomas) Tuchel in April/May about João Cancelo. It's a key step to decide his future.
"Bayern will not trigger €70m buy option clause — never been a possibility.
"Only possible way would be to negotiate with City."
