Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller has welcomed their Champions League quarterfinal draw with Manchester City.
It will mark the first time City manager Pep Guardiola will face his former club in competitive action.
Veteran Muller said, “Pep left Bayern a long time ago and now we have our first game against his team. We are happy.
"City were probably the toughest opponent we could get.
"This is an extremely stable team that brings together good players year after year and [who] are on the same wavelength with each other.
"These will be exciting matches. I am glad that the return will take place in Munich."
