Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller admits he was surprised when Mesut Ozil left Real Madrid to join Arsenal.
Ozil completed his £42.5million transfer on deadline day and although his Germany teammate Muller was slightly shocked, he suggests he has plenty to look forward to at his Muller said in interview with Bild. "But, in football, things can happen quickly.
"Real threw everything overboard [this summer] - new coach [Carlo Ancelotti], new stars [Isco, Gareth Bale]. I wouldn't have sold Mesut.
"However, I had the feeling that he is looking forward to a new chapter in his career at Arsenal."
