Bayern Munich are weighing up a January move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil. The London Evening Standard says the German giants have kept a close watch on the attacking midfielder ever since Arsenal signed him from Real Madrid for a club record £42million.

The Germany international has failed to live up to his reputation since arriving at the Emirates and has looked increasingly unsettled after a series of games played out of position.

Bayern boss Pep Guardiola however is convinced Ozil has much more to offer and is hoping Arsenal may be vulnerable to an audacious bid in January.
