Bayern Munich join Bayer Leverkusen in offering contract to Arsenal midfielder Xhaka

Bayern Munich are stepping into the battle for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Xhaka is expected to leave Arsenal this summer and has been in advanced talks with Bayer Leverkusen.

However, 4-4-2.ch is reporting Bayern Munich are now entering the fray.

Bayern want to tie Xhaka to a three-year contract with an option for another season.

But Leverkusen is still in the driver's seat. They've offered a five-year contract and want Xhaka to remain with the club once he hangs up the boots.

Arsenal are seeking €25m to sell the Swiss.
