Bayern Munich in contact with Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal about James deal

Bayern Munich are ready to trigger the permanent option in James Rodriguez's deal and sell him onto the Premier League.

The Colombia international is halfway through a two season loan from Real Madrid and can be signed outright by Bayern for €42m.

New Bayern coach Niko Kovac, reports Don Balon, has told the board he's prepared to work with James - but would also have no issue with him being sold this summer.

Indeed, Kovac favours the latter option if it means the money raised would go towards new additions.

In that case, Bayern will seek to sell for €60m and have already spoken to Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal about their plans.
