Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer says Marc-Andre ter Stegen should be Germany's outright No1.

As he returns from a skiing accident suffered last season, Neuer admits Barcelona's goalkeeper is the best Germany has.

He stated: "I think he (Ter Stegen) is currently the number 1.

"But this is a topic I'm not currently dealing with because I played my first game and I'm happy it went so well. Happy to be back again."

Neuer was back for the weekend's 8-0 thrashing of Darmstadt.
