Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies has said that he'll be fully fit for Canada's World Cup campaign.
The 22-year-old was taken off against Hertha Berlin in the 64th minute last week with a non-contract injury.
Despite having an issue with his hamstring, Davies has stated he will be ready for the winter World Cup in Qatar this month.
“I'm ready to get back on the pitch. Tomorrow I start my running and we'll see how it is after that," he said Wednesday.
“There's still a little bit of pain but overall I feel good, I feel like I will definitely be at 100 percent during the World Cup and will definitely give my all for the national team."
Davies will need around two weeks to recover from the injury, while Canada take on Belgium at the World Cup in 13 days.
