German giants Bayern Munich are believed to be very keen on West Ham United striker Carlton Cole.

Skysports.com reports that the 26-year old has impressed Bayern scouts over the past few seasons and they are now ready to make a play for him.

Cole has emerged as a major contender for Fabio Capello's England squad and has helped the Hammers fight back from relegation certainty this season so the club will hate to lose him but if Bayern are keen enough, expect a decent bid to be made in the summer.
