Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has had a fresh swipe at Manchester City's transfer policy.
Under pressure to stay competitive in the transfer market, Rummenigge insists they won't be pressured to spend big similar to the likes of City and PSG.
"As in the past 20 or 30 years, we must pursue our own philosophy. We cannot copy Real Madrid, Paris or Manchester City. We have to become more aggressive in scouting, we have to recognise talent earlier than we did before," outlined Rummenigge.
"We have to be creative and reasonable in the transfer market. I continue to focus on financial fair play."
He added: "Either you get an established one from another club, or you have to take the path of patience, with a home-grown. We have chosen the latter as it always proves better in the long run."
