Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen have won the race to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.
The Daily Mail is reporting Leverkusen are set to complete a £12million deal for the 27-year-old Mexican international.
West Ham had been linked with a move for Hernandez, but the former Real Madrid player has instead opted to move to Germany on a three-year deal.
It is understood Hernandez farewelled his United teammates after the team arrived back in Manchester following their 2-1 loss to Swansea on Sunday.
