Bayer Leverkusen have joined the race for Real Madrid attacker Jese.
Jese wants to leave Real this summer in search for regular first team football and has been contacted by Espanyol.
Bayer are also keen and like Espanyol would be happy taking the striker on-loan.
For their part, Real management believe Jese would benefit from a year away.
However, no decision will be made until Jese agrees to extend his current deal, which runs to 2017.
