Agents for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka are to meet with Bayer Leverkusen officials on the weekend.
The Switzerland international, with a year to run on his Arsenal deal, feels ready to return to Germany this summer.
TMW says a meeting between Xhaka's reps and Bayer will be held this weekend where there's hope of both parties reaching agreement over terms.
Xhaka had asked for time until Saturday to accept the proposal of just over €2m net per year offered by Bayer to 2027. But the feeling is that a 'yes' is only a matter of time, considering he currently earns just over €3m at Arsenal and has a contract for only one more season.
Meanwhile, Bayer are yet to open talks with Arsenal about a fee for Xhaka and hope to do business for around €10m.
