Bayer Leverkusen coach Bosz admits knee injury fears for ex-Man Utd fullback Fosu-Mensah

Bayer Leverkusen fear the worst for fullback Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

The Holland defender suffered a knee injury in defeat to SC Freiburg on the weekend.

Bayer coach Peter Bosz said, "Let's hope for something else, but we fear a cruciate ligament rupture."

Fosu-Mensah signed permanently for Bayer last month from Manchester United and has already established himself in Bosz's first team plans.

The fullback has managed six appearances since his arrival.
