Former Toulouse coach Elie Baup admits he was surprised by Johan Elmander's decision to sign for Bolton Wanderers.

"For Johan, I expected to see him join a more prestigious club," said Baup. "But he remained for the last six months. At least, he will be in a league he loves. He must be happy."
