Sebastien Bassong admits helping Tottenham into the top four has been a pleasure.
The Cameroon defender admits he struggled to cope with Newcastle United's relegation campaign last season.
"I can breathe now," he told the Guardian, a mighty grin spreading over his face. "Last year it was very difficult to feel good. When you fight relegation it is very different to what I experience today.
"I come into training and I am happy. I can look forward to the rest of this season. In my mind, it is another world."
