Adrian Basso is happy to have signed with Wolves.
Basso, who made 182 appearances for Bristol City before leaving last May, will provide experienced back-up to Wayne Hennessey and Marcus Hahnemann.
He said: "I'm looking forward to getting myself prepared and ready for any opportunities if they come. And this is a great place to be.
"The environment is very good and there's a positive mentality and togetherness with the players.
"Every player has their time and if mine comes, it's up to me to make sure I'm successful."
Although manager Mick McCarthy insists Basso will be third choice, the Brazilian is ready to push the two senior goalkeepers.
He said: "I told my agent I didn't matter if I was going in as third, second or first choice - once I got there it was my responsibility to make things happen.
"I played a lot of games for Bristol City and just want to give myself the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
"I didn't want to finish my career without knowing I gave it my best to achieve this goal."
