Basaksehir chiefs admit English interest for Man Utd, Spurs target Cengiz Under

Basaksehir chairman Göksel Gümüsdag admits Premier League interest is arriving for attacker Cengiz Under.

Manchester United and Tottenham have been tracking the Turkish youngster, who is the subject of a firm €6 million offer from Lille.

"There were scouts from the Premier League and LaLiga during the derby against Besiktas," confirmed Gumusdag in April. "The details I will reveal later, because I do not want to distract the team.

"We do not want to sell, but after the season we will look at the situation."

It's suggested United will sign Under and loan him out next season to a Dutch club.

Meanwhile, Basaksehir coach Abdullah Avci stated: "We know Cengiz is being monitored and has offers. Everyone is talking about him. We'll take into account a departure, but it would be better for him to stay here for another year."

Under is tied to the Turkish outfit to 2021.
