QPR skipper Joey Barton is eager to see a new manager installed soon.
Barton has urged the Hoops to make a decision on the club's direction as quickly as possible.
"It always helps the club if they get something in place fairly quickly," he said, "then you know where you are going. The longer it lingers on, the more people are in limbo.
"The sooner the better. But in the last four days...you've seen today that Chris Ramsey, Kevin Bond and Les Ferdinand have had an impact.
"It's up to us to get behind whoever it is, like we have for Chris this week. I think we showed that. There were players who have been on the periphery of things under the previous manager and who now have a chance to stake a claim to play.
"Now they need match fitness and game fitness to allow them to do it on a more consistent basis."
