Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists he's unafraid of a motion of censure.
Former presidential rival Agusti Benedito is attempting to gather enough signatures from members to bring the motion.
But Bartomeu told Sport: "It is in his right but I am of the opinion that there are not the extraordinary conditions to make a vote of censorship.
"The club has three basic legs: sport, economics and social. We have finished a project with Luis Enrique very successfully and we started one with (Ernesto) Valverde with a great expectation."
He added: "I sense a disenchantment, pessimism, that's why I say stop it. The team is like last year without Neymar, but with Semedo, Paulinho, Deulofeu and Dembélé. The team is more competitive."
