Barnsley insist no bid has been received for winger Adam Hammill.

The ex-Liverpool trainee has been linked with Blackpool, Everton and Wolves.

But a Barnsley spokesman said: "There's been no bid that has matched the valuation in his contract and until somebody makes one Adam will remain a Barnsley player."

Hammill signed a three-year contract with the Tykes when he joined from Liverpool in August last year following an initial loan spell at Oakwell.
