Barcelona defender Eric Abidal says France teammate Karim Benzema would fit in well at the Nou Camp.

Olympique Lyon striker Benzema is a top target for Barca and Abidal said: "It's only right that a player of his ability - and at his age - is followed by Europe's biggest clubs.

"A player as talented as Benzema is capable of adapting to the Spanish Liga."
