Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has received 'The Youngest' award from Tuttosport.

The 16 year-old has become the youngest nominee for Tuttosport's Golden Boy Trophy.

"(Lionel) Messi was and continues to be my role model, he is the one who inspired me and gave me passion," he said.

"It is an important award (The Youngest) and the first one I have received internationally.

"I would like to win the real prize (Golden Boy), I know it and I saw who won it, even Messi, and I would like to be in this historical record. Someday, I will see you in Turin, I promise."
