Barcelona veteran Gerard Pique has made Spain coach Luis Enrique's preliminary World Cup squad list.

Marca says Pique is on the extended list, despite him not being involved since the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Also named is PSG veteran defender Sergo Ramos.

Catalan Pique is well down the defensive pecking order at Barca, behind Jules Koundé, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia.

However, he appears in the first cut, although his chances of making the final squad are remote.
