Barcelona to re-adjust bid for Lyon striker Memphis Depay

Barcelona are ready to re-adjust their bid for Olympique Lyon striker Memphis Depay.

Barca are in contact with Lyon for Depay on recommendation of new coach Ronald Koeman.

The Catalans' opening bid included Samuel Umtiti, but the proposal was rejected by OL president Jean-Michel Aulas.

Instead, reports Mundo Deportivo, Barca are now planning to add Emerson Royal to their cash offer for Depay. OL need a new wing-back after losing Kenny Tete to Fulham and Barca hope the chance to take Emerson in the Depay deal will convince them to sell.

Emerson spent last season on-loan at Real Betis and Barca are prepared to cash in on the Brazilian this summer.

With less than a year on his contract, OL are seeking the equivalent of €30m to sell Depay.
